Hi, I’m Heather!
I help people reconnect with their bodies through strength, mobility, and martial arts–inspired movement.
I’m a former Michigan State bikini bodybuilding champion, longtime martial arts athlete & coach, and movement specialist with years of experience teaching both adults and kids.
After a serious hamstring injury forced me to step away from the way I had always trained, I rebuilt my relationship with movement from the ground up — and now help others do the same so they can feel stronger, safer, and more at home in their bodies.
Punchline Fitness is where performance training meets sustainability, resilience, and self-trust.

what is the movement lab?
Movement Lab is Punchline Fitness’s signature group training approach blending strength, yoga-informed movement, and fight-inspired skill building into sessions designed for real life.
Sessions focus on coordination, resilience, and confidence—not intensity for its own sake.
Participants learn practical movement skills drawn from boxing, jiu-jitsu, and self-defense alongside strength and mobility work that supports long-term joint health.
Movement Lab sessions are offered in parks, small-group settings, and through campus and community wellness programming across Long Beach.
No experience or equipment is needed to start—just curiosity about what your body can do.
